DELHI 2009

 
The Scientific Committee invites abstracts of original contributions for oral and poster presentation. The convention will be organized in a series of thematically ordered sessions. The Scientific Committee will review all submitted abstracts for scientific quality, and recommend the acceptance or rejection of each abstract. All contributions accepted will be assigned to a specific session. Submission of abstracts must be done only on the Convention website.

The presentations will be on research project, best practices, successful implementations, innovations, technologies etc.

  • Abstracts must be author's own work.
  • Abstract should constitute a brief summary of your proposed presentation, not exceeding 250 words TEXT ONLY (tables, graphs and graphics should not be included at all)
  • List name of presenting author FIRST
  • Include all co-author's names and organizations
  • The abstracts should be written in English, the official language of the  convention. Preference for topic classification and type of presentation (oral, poster) must be indicated.
  • Length of key-note lecture is 30 min. + 10 min. discussion
  • Length of oral presentation is 15 minutes.
  • The invitation to submit an abstract does not constitute an offer to pay travel, accommodation or registration costs associated with the  convention. All speakers and poster contributors must register for the  convention.
  • BEST PAPER AWARD - shall be given to the paper with Best INNOVATION
  • The deadline for submitting abstracts is 15th September 2009. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to allocate abstracts into sessions as they see fit in accordance with the overall programme objectives.
  • Abstracts that do not include sufficient data may be rejected.
  • Abstract submissions for Posters and Lectures close on 15th September 2009. (date revised !)
  • Further information on presentation requirements and preparation of posters will be provided in additional correspondence
  • Authors of submissions will be notified via email by latest 30th October 2009.
  • Posters are reports summarising information using brief written statements and graphic materials, such as graphs, charts, figures and photographs mounted on a poster board.
  • Your poster is required to fit 3m x 3m cm in a portrait orientation.
  • Your poster can be made from paper or cardboard and best laminated.
  • Double coated tapes will be provided.
  • Please do not write or paint on the poster boards.
  • Your poster presentation number will be assigned to you on site at registration counter during the setting-up time.
  • Presenters are requested to be present at the poster during the indicated hours of Poster Sessions.
  • Further directions to the poster boards will be provided at the registration desk.
  • BEST POSTER AWARD – shall be given to the poster with Best INNOVATION
